Ryan began his career with the Appalachian Research and Defense Fund of Kentucky, Inc. (AppalReD Legal Aid), a nationally-recognized civil legal aid organization serving eastern and south-central Kentucky. There, Ryan became battle-tested by assisting vulnerable populations fight back against powerful interests; where, for example, he built a reputation among domestic violence advocates for 'going to the mat' for his clients, many of whom had never experienced such a voice in their corner.
Merging those unique experiences with distinguished written and oral communication skills, Ryan has set out to do his part in changing the legal landscape for the better - steadfastly focused on offering high-level advocacy with a cost-conscious approach.
